Luna Maris landing on the tables.

Luna Maris is the big launch of Glyptodon Game Studio to the first semester of 2022.

Created by the debutant game designer Ricardo Amaral and developed by Diego Bianchini and Michael Alves, two experienced figures on Brazilian Board Games Market, Luna Maris is a classic euro game where the players need to create an efficient production of minerals, deliver demands to Earth, and improve the Lunar Base to score victory points.

Unlike other euro games, Luna Maris is totally connected with the theme: all the actions, game terms and ideas were taken from scientific articles to create an experience where players feel the real challenge of establishing a colony outside the Blue Planet.

Luna Maris around the world

At the present moment Luna Maris is available in Brazil, Germany, and Portugal. In addition to that, customers in Europe can already buy the English version of the game.

The United States, China, Spain, and Hungary will receive the game in a few months, maybe during the Summer in the North Hemisphere. Glyptodon Game Studio has agreements with companies in Russia and Poland to distribute the game in these markets, but this will happen in 2023.

What’s next?

In informal talks Ricardo confirmed he had lots of ideas he couldn’t put inside the base game. Will we see an expansion of the game soon?

It’s a real possibility, but until then we can play a new variant mode as of june 2022: in the next number of Glyptodon Magazine, the trimestral magazine of the Game Studio, the readers will find an exclusive and unpublished pack of rules to the game.

Stay tuned not to miss this great gift!
