World Wonders

Build the best city of the ancient world.

Take on the role of great leaders from the past to construct your own Ancient City.

Each player will use their gold each round to build pieces that will boost the economy of their city. A city that produces more food and generates trade will attract more population. Make your city grow!

There are 5 types of buildings, and each provides a type of resource that will allow your city to evolve from a simple settlement into the greatest city in the world. If your buildings are completely enclosed on all sides, you have created a well-planned block. This will earn you many points.

Wonderful Monuments

To place new buildings in your city, you will also need many roads. Adjacency to roads will allow you to place buildings further away on the map. This will reach natural resources, which, among other benefits, bring victory points.

As important as the buildings are, your monuments and symbols of wonders are crucial. They will bring you many victory points but will consume all your gold. Be wise in choosing when and where to place them. Each monument requires the placement of buildings, roads, natural resources, or even water in their vicinity. It won’t be easy to fit them into your city, but the benefits will be significant.

If your gold runs out, your turn is over. Once all players have spent their gold, a new round will begin, and new buildings and roads will be available to everyone.

In the end, when a player reaches the maximum population limit, the leader of the best city of the ancient world will be the winner of the Wonders of the World!
